Mini Truck Accident Kills One, Injures Another in Bara

Rautahat. One person died and another was injured in a mini truck accident that occurred last night near Gupta Petrol Pump in Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan City-4, Bara.

According to the police, around 12:30 AM on Monday night, an empty Tata company mini truck, BA 1 Ka 4836, coming from Bariyarpur towards Kalaiya, lost control and hit the house of local Suresh Sah Kanu on the left side of the road.

Shivanarayan Paswan, 40, a resident of Imaliprati, Jitpursimra Sub-Metropolitan City-8, who was in the truck, was seriously injured in the accident. He was taken to Provincial Hospital Kalaiya for treatment, where doctors declared him dead at 12:50 AM during treatment, said DSP Min Bahadur Gha, Bara Police Spokesperson.

Similarly, Deonarayan Chaudhary, 50, of the same place, sustained injuries to his head and both arms and legs. His condition is moderate, the police stated.

After the accident, a police team from the temporary police post, Buspark, and the District Police Office, Bara, took the truck driver, Raju Kumar Chaudhary, 27, a resident of Simra Bhavnipur, Gujara Municipality-9, Rautahat, under control.

The front part of the mini truck was damaged in the accident, and a side wall of the house collapsed, the police said. The road was not obstructed after the incident, and further investigation into the accident is underway, the District Police Office, Bara, stated.
