CPN Coordinator Prachanda Criticizes Balen Shah-Led Government for Anti-Poor Policies

Kathmandu. CPN Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has stated that the current government led by Balen Shah is against the poor, laborers, farmers, and oppressed classes. Prachanda, also a former Prime Minister, said this on Friday while inaugurating the digital membership distribution program at the party office.  

‘It is clearly visible that the policies, budget, and other decisions of this government are against all the poor, laborers, farmers, and oppressed classes of Nepal’, Prachanda said, ‘It is clearly visible that it is focused on protecting the interests of the upper class.’

Coordinator Prachanda stated that efforts are being made to raise voices from all fronts for the fundamental and trade union rights of the people. ‘We need to bring all the opposition parties in the parliament together and gradually take these issues to the streets as well’, Prachanda said, ‘Parties that fought for inclusivity and federalism are being weakened. Some of our own party members are falling into the traps, troubles, and confusion created by reactionaries.’
