Kailali– Rastriya Prajatantra Party chair Kamal Thapa has said that the official stand of his party was strengthened autonomous local governance system was more appropriate for Nepal than federalism.
Speaking at a press meet today in Dhangadhi, the former Deputy Prime Minister argued the strengthened autonomous local governance was better in the current geo-political scenario; religious, social and cultural context and contemporary political background of the nation.
Responding to a query of journalists over the party's long political agenda--the Sanatan Hindu State along with monarchy--he said it seemed very difficult to establish the agenda, though they were not impossible.
