Nepal Medical Association Halts Hospital Services Nationwide

Kathmandu. The Nepal Medical Association has shut down all services except emergencies in hospitals across the country today in protest of the heinous attack on doctors and health workers working at Narayani Hospital in Birgunj and the mistreatment at the District Administration Office, Parsa.

On August 25, doctors and health workers including Dr. Pramod Ram working at Narayani Hospital were brutally attacked, causing serious head injuries, and the hospital was also vandalized.

All services except emergencies have been shut down today demanding legal action against the culprits of the incident.
