MP Bablu Gupta Apologizes for Viral Stunt Video

Kathmandu. A video of National Independent Party (NCP) MP and former minister Bablu Gupta traveling standing on a moving motorcycle has gone viral on social media. Following the release of the video of the stunt style of Gupta, who represents Siraha Constituency No. 1 in the House of Representatives, he is being criticized from all sides.

As the criticism increased, MP Gupta expressed regret for his behavior through social media and apologized. Mentioning that old memories became fresh when he reached the place where he played in his childhood, he said, 'In that moment of happiness and fun, while making a video standing on the back of a motorcycle in jest, I myself have realized that I have violated traffic rules.'

Admitting that he made a mistake, he further wrote, 'I commit to dedicating this same enthusiasm and energy to the welfare of the country and the people. I apologize if I have made any mistake knowingly or unknowingly!'
