Rastriya Swatantra Party MP Bablu Gupta Fined By Traffic Police For Riding Standing On Motorcycle

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP and former minister Bablu Gupta has been fined by the traffic police. He was fined Rs 500 after a video of him traveling standing on a moving motorcycle went viral on social media. Gupta, who represents Siraha Constituency No. 1 in the House of Representatives, has been facing criticism from all sides since the video of his stunt style went public. Amidst growing criticism, MP Gupta has expressed regret for his behavior on social media and apologized. Stating that old memories were refreshed upon reaching the place where he played in his childhood, he said, 'In that moment of joy and fun, while making a video standing at the back of the motorcycle in jest, I myself realized that I had violated traffic rules.' Admitting his mistake, he further wrote, 'I pledge to dedicate this same zeal and energy for the benefit of the country and the people. I apologize if I have made any mistake knowingly or unknowingly!'
