Prime Minister Balendra Shah to Discuss Export Promotion with Industry Representatives

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balendra Shah is scheduled to hold discussions today with representatives associated with the country's major export-oriented industries and businesses.

The discussion, to be held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at 11:30 AM today, will be attended by Home Prasad Ghimire, Chairman of the Nepal Plywood Manufacturers' Association; Balram Gurung, Chairman of the Nepal Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Association; Dhan Prasad Lamichhane, Chairman of the Nepal Pashmina Industries Association; Devnand Sarawagi, carpet and plywood exporter; and Resham Bahadur Pokharel, Chairman of the Nepal Dog Chew Producers Association.

Prime Minister Shah will discuss challenges in export promotion, policy reforms, and solutions with them.

For some time now, the Prime Minister has been continuously engaging in dialogue with industrialists, businessmen from the private sector, and concerned bodies for the promotion of the country's economy.
