Gold and Silver Prices Decrease in Local Market

Kathmandu. Today, the prices of gold and silver have decreased slightly in the local market. Compared to yesterday, Thursday, gold has decreased by Rs 5,800 per tola and silver by Rs 155.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, today the price of one tola of hallmark gold has been fixed at Rs 285,500 and the price of the same quantity of white metal at Rs 4,350. Yesterday, the price of one tola of hallmark gold was traded at Rs 291,300 and the same quantity of white metal at Rs 4,505.

On Wednesday, the price of one tola of hallmark gold was fixed at Rs 291,000 and the price of the same quantity of white metal at Rs 4,480. On Tuesday, the price of one tola of hallmark gold was traded at Rs 285,600 and the same quantity of silver at Rs 4,370.

According to international media, one ounce of gold is being traded at 4,045 dollars and silver at 57 dollars in the international market today.
