CPN (Maoist Centre) Decides to Vote For No-Confidence Motion Against Chief Minister Yamlal Kandel in Karnali

Surkhet. The Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) has decided to vote in favor of the no-confidence motion registered against Chief Minister Yamlal Kandel in Karnali.

The parliamentary party meeting held on Thursday morning made this decision, CPN Parliamentary Party Chief Whip Krishna Bahadur GC told Ratopati.

"We had already registered a letter stating that we do not have confidence in him," he said, "There is no need to make another decision."

Although a coalition between CPN UML-CPN has been formed at the center, CPN has stated that it will maintain its earlier stance in Karnali.

In Karnali, Congress-CPN jointly registered a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Kandel last Thursday. Along with this, Congress Parliamentary Party leader Jeevan Bahadur Shahi has been proposed as the Chief Minister.

The provincial assembly meeting is scheduled for today.
