Artificial Intelligence: A Double-Edged Sword

Anthropic is a company working in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Like ChatGPT, it also has its own platform, called Claude. It is true that Dario's name also comes up in the development of ChatGPT.

Before starting his company, he contributed to making ChatGPT for OpenAI from 2016 to 2020. ChatGPT chatbot, an AI-based large language model, was launched in November 2022. Four months later, Anthropic's Claude model was launched.

Anthropic updated a new program in Claude in April 2024. The Mythos preview and Fable program caused a stir worldwide. Finally, the US government banned the sale of Mythos and Fable outside the US. The US military achieved expected success with the help of Mythos and Fable in the wars with Venezuela and Iran. This is the first time any AI has been banned.

As mentioned above, the world is about to get a weapon more dangerous than the atomic bomb. That is none other than Artificial Intelligence (AI). In fact, the credit for this goes to mathematician Alan Turing. Alan, who was involved in breaking the German army's code during World War II, imagined in 1950 what it would be like if machines had intelligence.

Later, the term Artificial Intelligence originated at a seminar on this subject held at Dartmouth College in the USA in 1956.

AI is currently in its early stages. Ordinary people can perform tasks many times greater than their capacity by using various chatbots. Even with the current use of AI, humans are on the verge of being defeated in terms of intelligence. AI completes tasks that take humans hours in minutes.

AI is now in the self-learning phase. This phase has already caused an earthquake in the IT sector. Thousands of workers in various IT companies have become unemployed. AI easily does the coding, programming, and data analysis that IT engineers do after years of study.

It is estimated that about 5 million IT engineers may be laid off by companies within the next three years, by 2029. Perhaps the IT sector will be the first and biggest victim of AI. The entertainment industry has also started to fall prey to it.

More than 10 billion faces (AI-generated faces) created by AI are available online. Now advertising companies do not need to use any real models to advertise their products. Instead, they can use AI models.

You can create a movie with Amitabh Bachchan, Nargis, and other desired actors using AI.

The work of sectors like doctors, lawyers, engineers, judges, teachers, professors, managers, accountants, financial advisors, marketing managers, journalists, writers, musicians, fashion designers, etc., can be taken over by AI.

You are pursuing a PhD, AI will complete the work for you. Robotic surgery is in its early stages, but in the near future, robotic surgeons may displace doctors. The rapid development that occurred in the field of information and communication after the 1990s is now going to happen in the medical field by AI.

Within the next three years, AI will move beyond its current stage and enter AGI, or Artificial General Intelligence. At that time, AI agents will replace the current chatbots. AI agents will perform all the tasks you do. And within the next decade, AGI will develop and become ASI, or Artificial Super Intelligence.

At that estimated point, the IQ level of ASI is estimated to be 1600. At that level, AI can take away any task that humans do by collecting data. AI can perform all these tasks thousands of times faster, with more efficiency and skill than humans.

AI visionary Alan Turing thought that machines could use intelligence inputted into them like humans and perform tasks.

Humans have intelligence, do all humans have the same kind of intelligence? Is everyone's intelligence level the same? Don't get annoyed by the childish question. What is the source of intelligence? No matter how intelligent, did Einstein know how to speak Nepali? Did Leo Tolstoy know the core essence of Hindu scriptures?

You can easily say that his brain did not have the data of the Nepali language or scriptures. They were intelligent in the things they had knowledge or data about. Intelligence is directly related to the data stored in the brain.

Analyzing the data stored in the brain to reach a conclusion is intelligence. In today's language, it means being intelligent. No matter how much storage capacity a brain has, if it lacks data related to a particular subject, the brain is completely ignorant about that subject. In other words, intelligence is a tool or mechanism for analyzing available data to reach a known or unknown conclusion.

Science says - 70,000 years ago, many people or communities around the world did not have storage capacity in their brains. Due to some event or unknown accident, this storage capacity developed in the brains of Homo sapiens among the then humans or communities.

Before this, all human communities behaved by instinct like other members of the animal kingdom. With the advent of storage capacity in the brain, Homo sapiens began to retain memories of events that happened to them. Gradually, language developed. They became proficient in expressing their feelings, emotions, thoughts, and perspectives.

Today, no other species of human remains on Earth except Homo sapiens. If any doubt is forming in your mind while reading this, it is not baseless.

Now, reflect for a moment, what is language? Whether you call language 'Brahma' or 'Saraswati', I have no objection. Are letters, words, sentences, specific symbols, numbers, etc., not all fundamentally data? Is the executed book from that era's technology, which progressed from oral tradition to writing, not in itself a form of AI?

Therefore, I feel that a book or text is the first AI tool. Yes, it is not active, so it can be considered passive AI.

If we accept this, isn't human intelligence itself Artificial Intelligence? 70-75 thousand years ago, didn't the storage capacity developed in the brain of one Homo sapiens among the various human species at that time, and the intelligence that abnormally increased due to the language and its use developed from it, lead to the annihilation of all other human species?

Today, no other species of human remains on Earth except Homo sapiens. If any doubt is forming in your mind while reading this, it is not baseless. There is a strong possibility that experts worldwide are not afraid of AI for no reason.

AI can make the imagination of heaven come true for humans. What is meant is that AI has that capability. But everything has two sides; one side is as pure and white as the other is equally black and dark, and frightening.

If you are already frightened by the current computing power and AI, then do not even imagine the super-incarnate form that quantum computing and AI will create together. From now on, leave everything and take refuge in the Lord.

Just as in the 20th century, before Newtonian physics or classical physics, it entered the field of quantum physics, and science stopped looking at matter or began to call matter Maya like Shankaracharya. Maya does not mean falsehood, Maya means changing existence. Superposition. Wave particle. Creation according to vision. Observer effect.

China has already achieved 400 qubits of quantum computing. Various American companies are also spending billions of dollars to rapidly develop in the field of quantum computing. In summary, the work done by superintelligence can be understood by dividing it into four parts-

1. You know the data. You also know the conclusion or result you want from the data. You ask the AI. It provides you with the result with speed and accuracy. Data known, result known, i.e., known=known variable.

2. The data is not available, but you are sure about the result you want. Data unknown, result known, i.e., unknown=known variable.

3. You have the data, but you don't know the result it will bring. Data known, result unknown, i.e., known=unknown variable.

4. You neither have the data nor know the result, i.e., unknown=unknown variable.

Nature has created humans with limited capabilities. The capacity of all human senses and motor organs is limited. Many machines in the past have increased that human capacity. Look from tractors to rockets, from glasses to microscopes to telescopes.

Without a microscope, how would we know about human cells, bacteria, and viruses? Before the Hubble telescope, nothing was known beyond the Milky Way galaxy. Hubble stated that there are 2 trillion galaxies in the universe.

Now the world has entered the age of AI, and no one can stop it, whether they want to or not. Therefore, old education is useless. Old professions will gradually be displaced. No country's government can provide employment anymore. If there were 200 types of old professions, jobs, or livelihoods, only 10-12 of them might survive.

Therefore, governments worldwide urgently need to bring about changes in education. In addition, there is a need to form an AI ministry and a separate cyber ministry. AI-generated dishonesty and cybercrime are certain to increase so rapidly that it will not take even 30 seconds to empty a common person's home, bank balance.
