Youth Protest Against Education Minister Pokharel Outside University Event

Kathmandu. Outside the venue of Tribhuvan University's 67th annual day program, youth protested against Education Minister Sasmita Pokharel. 

Five youths who came out protesting with slogans like 'Nepo Baby Murdabad' outside the program venue where the Education Minister was about to participate have been taken into police custody.

The youth targeted Education Minister Pokharel, who had arrived to participate in the university's annual day ceremony, with slogans and protests. They held placards demanding the implementation of meritocracy, the abolition of the provision of the Prime Minister as Chancellor and the Education Minister as Pro-Chancellor, and an end to political interference in the university.
