House Committee Forms Six Subcommittees for Study and Coordination

Kathmandu. The Education, Health and Information Technology Committee under the House of Representatives has formed six subcommittees for the study and coordination of various subjects. The meeting of the committee held at Singhdarbar on Wednesday unanimously decided to form these subcommittees in accordance with the provisions of the House of Representatives Regulations.

According to the committee chairperson Dr. Ojashwi Sherchan, the committee has formed a Consultation and Coordination Subcommittee, a Health and Food Hygiene Study Subcommittee, an Education Study Subcommittee, a Science, Technology and Innovation Study Subcommittee, an Information and Communication Study Subcommittee, and a Sports Study Subcommittee. All these subcommittees will be under the chairperson of the committee, and the chairperson herself will be responsible for coordinating the subcommittees.

Informing about the decision to form subcommittees, chairperson Dr. Ojashwi Sherchan said, "The subcommittees have been formed in accordance with the House of Representatives Regulations. All subcommittees will be under the chairperson of the committee."

According to the information provided by the committee secretary Dasharath Dhamala, the work division and responsibilities of the MPs have been assigned to the formed subcommittees. Under this, the 'Consultation and Coordination Subcommittee' includes MPs Dr. Lekhjung Thapa, Pukar Bam, Prabha Dhakal, Sita Thapaliya, Ringla Yadav, Ramesh Kumar Malla, Radhika Ramtel, and Mahabir Pun.

Similarly, the 'Health and Food Hygiene Study Subcommittee' includes Kamini Kumari, Prof. Dr. Chandramohan Yadav, Dr. Tosima Karki, Prabha Dhakal, Ringla Yadav, and Lekhjung Thapa. The 'Education Study Subcommittee' includes MPs Ganesh Poudel, Guruprasad Baral, Jagatprasad Joshi, Radhika Ramtel, and Ramesh Kumar Malla.

The 'Science, Technology and Innovation Study Subcommittee' includes MPs Kusum Maharjan, Jhavilal Dumre, Pukar Bam, Dr. Pramila Kumari Gachchhadar, and Mahabir Pun. The 'Information and Communication Study Subcommittee' includes Khushbu Sarkar Shrestha, Shambhu Kumar Yadav, Rabin Mahato, Bishnu Bahadur Khadka, and Hariprasad Bhusal. Likewise, the 'Sports Study Subcommittee' includes MPs Achyutam Lamichhane, Chandan Kumar Singh, Bhimkumari Budhamagar, Rajan Gautam, and Sita Thapaliya.
