Four Rescued From Jungle Near Fulchoki

Lalitpur. Police have safely rescued four people, including two students, who were stranded in the jungle while going to visit Fulchoki in Godawari, Lalitpur. 

A team of teachers and students from SS Academy located in Bagbazar, Kathmandu had gone to the Fulchoki area for an educational tour and sightseeing on Saturday. Information was received at the operational room of the District Police Complex Lalitpur through the control room of Kathmandu Valley Police Office Ranipokhari that two students from the group had gotten separated and lost in the jungle while visiting. As soon as the information was received, a special police team of 9 people under the command of Police Inspector Bikram KC from Police Division Badegaun was immediately mobilized for the search operation. The police team found the two students in the waterfall area of the Fulchoki jungle after an intensive search. One other man and one woman were also found stranded in the same area. 

The police safely rescued all four of them from the jungle and brought them to a safe place. The police have stated that all those rescued have been handed over to their relatives after completing the necessary procedures.
