Two Killed in Separate Vehicle Accidents

Two people have died in separate traffic accidents that occurred in the Myagdi and Dang districts. Both incidents took place on Saturday night.

Child Killed in Myagdi Jeep Accident

In Myagdi district, a three-year-old boy named Riyas Sunar was killed in a jeep accident. The incident happened on the old road in Beni Municipality-8. The jeep, with license plate BAA 2634, was traveling from Mustang to Pokhara when it hit the child. Riyas Sunar was a resident of Jalajala Rural Municipality-7. He was seriously injured in the collision and was taken to the provincial hospital in Beni for treatment. Unfortunately, he died while receiving medical care. The police have taken the jeep driver into custody.

Cyclist Killed in Dang Motorcycle Accident

In Dang district, a 60-year-old man named Garbhu Chaudhary was killed in a motorcycle accident. The incident occurred in Sunadabari, Lamahi Municipality-1. Chaudhary, who was a resident of the same area, was riding a bicycle when he was hit by a motorcycle with license plate RA.7 PA 8763. He sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Bhairahawa Medical College in Rupandehi for treatment. He passed away while undergoing medical care. The police have also taken the motorcycle driver into custody.
