Earthquake strikes Sindhupalchok

Kathmandu, January 2 — An earthquake occurred with its epicenter in Sindhupalchok on Thursday afternoon.

According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, the earthquake struck at 1:02 PM with a magnitude of 4.8.

The epicenter was located in the area of Majhitar.

Nepal has been experiencing a series of earthquakes recently.
