Agricultural Inputs Company Distributes Chemical Fertilizers in Madhesh Province

Janakpurdham. Agricultural Inputs Company Limited Janakpurdham Dhanusha has started distributing chemical fertilizers under the 'buffer' quota set by the Madhesh Province government.

The distribution of buffer quota Urea and DAP chemical fertilizers has been started based on the recommendation of the local level, targeting farmers in Dhanusha who are facing a shortage of chemical fertilizers during the paddy transplantation season.

According to Bechan Sah, Information Officer at the Agricultural Inputs Company Limited Janakpurdham, the sale and distribution of Urea and DAP fertilizers under the buffer quota determined at the local level according to the decision of the Madhesh Province government on Asar 31 has been started.

He informed that with the distribution of fertilizers, the shortage of DAP fertilizer that existed in the district for some time is gradually disappearing. He stated that the shortage of fertilizers will be completely resolved as more Urea and DAP fertilizers will arrive by the second week of Shrawan.

Meanwhile, Agricultural Inputs Company Limited Janakpurdham Dhanusha has distributed 18,745.1 metric tons of chemical fertilizers to farmers in the last one year.

According to the office's Information Officer Sah, the office distributed 11,241.350 metric tons of Urea, 6,963.300 metric tons of DAP, 379.550 metric tons of Potash, and 160.900 metric tons of agricultural lime to farmers in the fiscal year 2082-83.

Information Officer Sah stated that the office received 10,618.500 metric tons of Urea, 7,289 metric tons of DAP, 463 metric tons of Potash, and 235 metric tons of agricultural lime for the fiscal year 2082-83. It appears that most of the received fertilizers have reached the farmers.

Office Chief Dhruv Chaudhary stated that the office has effectively managed its stock by distributing fertilizers as per the need even during the main paddy transplantation season.

Chief Chaudhary said that the regular supply of fertilizers, stock management, and distribution process have been systematized targeting the paddy transplantation season. He added that coordination is being done to provide additional fertilizers as per the demand of the farmers, and more fertilizers for this year will arrive within a few days.
