Police Recover 652kg Ganja Hidden in Fruit Vehicle in Lahan

Kathmandu. Police have recovered a large quantity of ganja hidden in a fruit vehicle from Lahan, Siraha. A team deployed from the Narcotics Control Bureau's Siraha branch office recovered 652 kg of ganja from the house compound of Shyamkumari Sah in Lahan Municipality-3 on Wednesday.    

DSP Jeevan Niroula of the Narcotics Control Bureau said that 652 kg of ganja was recovered hidden under fruits in a pickup with number B21 Cha 5866 which was parked.  

The Bureau's team has arrested 3 people involved in the transportation of ganja. Those arrested include 38-year-old Shyamkumari Sah, a resident of Lahan Municipality-3, 19-year-old Shivam Sah, and 38-year-old Gaurav Mahato, an Indian citizen.  

DSP Niroula informed that they have been handed over to the Area Police Office, Lahan, along with the recovered ganja for further investigation into the accused.
