Bagmati Province Completes 44 Road Bridges in Past Fiscal Year

Makwanpur. 44 road bridges have been completed in Bagmati Province in the last fiscal year. 63.40 percent of the total amount allocated under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, Bagmati Province Government has been spent, informed Ministry Spokesperson Madankumar Ale Magar.< /p>

During the same period under the ministry, 136.66 km of gravel road upgradation, 231.31 km of blacktopping/concrete road construction, six suspension (pedestrian) bridges, 17 government buildings, 102 community buildings, construction of 940 houses through various programs, and 17 parks have been completed, the ministry has stated.< /p>

Out of 41 sick projects under the ministry, seven have been completed, while construction work on 23 has been expedited by making them operational. Coordination is underway for the necessary operation of the remaining construction work of 11, and action has been taken by imposing fines on four projects, the ministry has stated.< /p>
