Photo Feature: Final match of the group stage of Nepal Premier League
Kathmandu, December 16 — In the final match of the group stage of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), Sudur Paschim Royals secured a 6-wicket victory over Karnali Yaks on Monday.
Karnali Yaks, batting first after losing the toss, were restricted to just 101 runs, losing 9 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
In response, Sudur Paschim Royals chased down the target with ease, reaching 105/4 in just 15.2 overs to win the match.
With this victory, Sudur Paschim Royals joined Janakpur Bolts and Chitwan Rhinos in the playoff stage of the competition.
Karnali Yaks also qualified for the playoffs, edging out Kathmandu Gurkhas for the final spot.
The playoff phase now awaits, with the four teams set to compete for the championship.
