Price of gold sees a modest increase

Kathmandu, December 16 — The price of gold saw a modest increase in the Nepali market on Monday.

According to the Federaion of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of hallmark gold, which was set at NPR 150,800 per tola on Sunday, rose by NPR 400 to reach NPR 151,200 per tola on Monday.

The price of silver remained unchanged.

Silver, which was priced at NPR 1,840 per tola on Sunday, continued to trade at the same rate on Monday.
