CPN UML to Withdraw from Bagmati Province Government After Dispute with Chief Minister

Kathmandu. After a dispute with the Chief Minister, the CPN UML is going to withdraw from the Bagmati Province government. For that, a meeting of the CPN UML Bagmati Province Parliamentary Party is being held in Kathmandu to make a formal decision. Leaders have said that the meeting will decide to withdraw the support given to the Bagmati Province government and exit the government.

‘The meeting is ongoing in Koteshwor, Kathmandu, discussions are ongoing on various issues,’ said a leader participating in the meeting. CPN UML Bagmati Province Parliamentary Party leader Jagannath Thapaliya said that the party meeting will decide to withdraw the support given to the government and also about the resignation of the 6 ministers of CPN UML.

CPN UML leaders had already verbally informed Chief Minister Indrabahadur Baniya about the withdrawal of support on Saturday. From the Bagmati government, Dr. Dineshchandra Devkota, Minister of Physical Infrastructure Development, Madhusudan Poudel, Minister of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Forest and Environment, Jayaram Thapa, Minister looking after the transport sector in the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Labor and Transport, Bharatbahadur KC, Minister looking after Forest and Environment under the Ministry of Agriculture, Kiran Thapa, Minister looking after the health sector in the Ministry of Health and Social Development, and Bindu Shrestha, Minister of Industry, Tourism, Labor and Transport are participating.
