State name through consensus: CM Rai

Gaighat– Chief Minister of State-1 Sherdhan Rai has said the State would be named soon as the process to forge consensus for it was getting finalized.

In a press meet organized by the Press Organization Udaypur chapter here this morning, CM Rai argued that the name would be decided through consensus.

He also said that there were number of alternatives for the name but consensus finalizes it. On a different note, CM Rai said that the State government had prioritized agro sector to increase the production.
