Public service will be effective: Minister Aryal

Phidim– Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Padma Kumari Aryal, has said public service delivery would be made more effective and smooth.

Only political change is not enough to ensure meaningful change, so government service needs to made more credible and convenient, she underscored.

At a programme organized by Press Organization Panchthar chapter this morning, Minister Aryal further said government was bringing change in its performance to ensure change in people's lives.

The common people will be provided service promptly from the government bodies, she underscored. According to her, online system was introduced at the offices of Land Revenue and Land Survey for the normalization of works.

Paperless system brings huge transformation, she shared Ministry's expectation. All offices of Land Revenue across the country would go digital, she claimed, adding that with the adoption of digital system, there was huge amount of revenue collected from these offices.

Moreover, the Minister expressed confidence that the settlements in government lands would be managed more and encroachments upon public land ended. Three separate agencies were investigating the Baluwatar land scam, Minister added.
