Disaster management becoming challenge to government: Bishwakarma

Nagarkot - Commerce Minister Meen Bishwakarma has said that the disaster management has become a challenge to the government.
 
Speaking at a face-to-face programme organized by the Rafat Sanchar Club here today, Minister Bishwakarma shared that inundation and floods were badly affecting Tarai region while hilly parts were hit by landslides. 

He added that the Cabinet meeting likely today can declare a national emergency in the country. In another context, he stressed on rational decision while opening the Koshi barrage doors as area has been inundated by blocked water in the barrage. 

Minister Bishwakarma said that the government was well aware of the deadline of completing the three-tier of elections by January 2018. He added that the Prime Minister's upcoming visit to southern neighbor will be centred on improving bilateral ties and discussing on trade deficit. 

Likewise, the upcoming visit by Chinese Vice-Premier to Nepal will also be fruitful, he added.
