PPMO Issues Revised Sample Bidding Documents for Construction Procurement

Kathmandu. The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) has issued revised sample bidding documents related to construction work procurement. The office has revised and published the documents in accordance with the provisions of the Public Procurement (Second Amendment) Act, 2083.

According to a press release issued by the office's spokesperson and joint secretary Narayan Prasad Bhandari, a decision was made by secretary-level to amend and revise the sample bidding documents on the 6th of Shrawan, 2083.

The office stated that this revised document has been brought to facilitate the preparation and use of bidding documents by public bodies, bidders, banks and financial institutions, and all concerned stakeholders, in accordance with the provisions of clause (c) of sub-section (3) of section 7 of the Public Procurement Act, 2063.
