Roads Blocked by Landslides, Restoration Efforts Underway

Kathmandu. Due to floods and landslides, 6 road sections in various parts of the country have been completely blocked, while 11 road sections are partially operational.

According to the Department of Roads, 33 blocked road sections have been reopened after maintenance so far.

According to the Department's Director General Vijay Jaisi, efforts are underway to clear the debris rapidly using equipment such as dozers, excavators, and loaders in the concerned locations to open the roads blocked by landslides.
