CJP Urges Sonam Wangchuk to End Hunger Strike

New Delhi. The Congress Janata Party (CJP) has written a letter to Sonam Wangchuk on Wednesday, urging him to break his hunger strike. 

In its letter, CJP has requested the end of the hunger strike, expressing full respect and gratitude. The letter mentions that Wangchuk's sacrifice has inspired thousands of students across the country, and on July 20, youths from various states arrived in support of him and this movement. CJP has written in the letter, 'You have shown that this fight is not of one person, but of every student who wants justice in the examination system. But at this time, the most important thing is that you also take care of your health.'

CJP has also committed to Wangchuk that ending the hunger strike will not end this movement. CJP has further written in the letter, 'We will take this fight forward with full strength and continue the struggle until our demand for justice in the examination is met. We will make every possible effort to take this movement forward.'

Meanwhile, CJP founder Abhijit Dipke has also released a video on X urging Sonam Wangchuk to end the hunger strike. Dipke stated that the country needs Sonam Wangchuk and his life is very precious, so it cannot be put at further risk. He clarified that peaceful demonstrations will continue at Jantar Mantar until our demands are met.
