Piyush Mishra Injured in Bathroom Fall, Fractures Hand

Mumbai. Veteran actor Piyush Mishra has been injured in an accident. The director of the film 'Dulhania Le Aayegi', Akashaditya Lama, revealed this in a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar.

Mishra is also a key part of the film 'Dulhania Le Aayegi'. He was supposed to attend a film promotion event along with the director and actress Khushali Kumar.

After Piyush Mishra did not arrive at the event, director Akashaditya Lama clarified the situation regarding his absence. Lama stated that Piyush Mishra slipped and fell in his bathroom and fractured his hand. As per the doctor's advice, he is currently on complete bed rest and will stay away from all film promotions and events.

According to Lama, Piyush Mishra's manager called the previous night. The manager informed that Piyush had fallen in the bathroom, fractured his hand, and therefore would not be able to participate in film promotions and interviews.

Director Akashaditya Lama also mentioned that Piyush Mishra has been continuously unwell for some time. Despite his ill health, as a dedicated artist, he was trying to participate in events and promotions with full courage and patience. But after this accident, he has reached a state where he cannot even get out of bed.

Meanwhile, the trailer of Akashaditya Lama's film 'Dulhania Le Aayegi' has been released. The film features the performances of Khushali Kumar, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Piyush Mishra.
