Teenage Girl Dies After Falling From Guest House in Bhaktapur

Kathmandu. A teenage girl has died after falling from Lumbini Guest House located in Ward No.-1 of Bhaktapur Municipality in Bhaktapur district. On Monday, 18-year-old Salina Shrestha fell from the guest house.

Salina, who is from Dolakha and resides in Ward No.-9 of Changu Narayan Municipality, had gone to the guest house with her friends. Her body has been sent to KMC Hospital in Duvakot for postmortem.

DSP Deepak Kumar Karki of the District Police Complex Bhaktapur told Ratopati that the investigation into the incident is ongoing. Police have arrested four people who had gone to the guest house with Salina. SP Karki stated that two women and two men have been taken into custody for investigation. 

Police are investigating whether Salina fell from the guest house on her own or was pushed. Police are questioning the arrested individuals about the incident.
