US Continues Attacks on Iran Amid Escalating Middle East Conflict

Kathmandu. The war between America and Iran has intensified further. In the conflict that resumed approximately 30 days after a ceasefire understanding, America has conducted airstrikes on various areas of Iran for the tenth consecutive night.

Explosions have occurred in Iran's Bandar Abbas, Sirik, Qeshm Island, Chabahar, and Konarak regions. The Iranian state broadcaster IRIB reported that a powerful explosion sound was also heard in the southwestern Iranian city of Shiraz on Tuesday morning.  

Meanwhile, officials in Isfahan province stated that there have been no attacks or explosions in the Isfahan region. The governor of Bushehr province, however, said that the sounds of explosions heard were from the air defense system being activated.

US President Donald Trump has warned that Iran will have to pay a much greater price for the deaths of American soldiers. America has become more aggressive after at least three American soldiers were killed in the past week.

According to a statement issued by the White House, military attacks on Iran will continue until the President orders otherwise. However, the US administration has stated that diplomatic dialogue between the two countries is also ongoing.

Meanwhile, according to the National News Agency of Lebanon, the Israeli army has destroyed structures in large quantities in the Kfar Tebnit area of southern Lebanon. It has also been reported that artillery shelling was carried out in the Nabatieh al-Fawqa region.

As the war intensifies further, the security situation in the Middle East is becoming more complex. The international community is urging both sides to exercise restraint and seek a diplomatic solution.
