Patan High Court Disposes 11,468 Cases in Fiscal Year 2082/083

Kathmandu. Patan High Court has disposed of 11,468 cases in the last fiscal year (2082/083). Out of a total of 16,139 pending cases, 11,468 cases have been disposed of.

The court has succeeded in bringing cases older than two years and 18 months to zero. Similarly, 353 cases older than one year remain. Chief Judge Lal Bahadur Kunwar claimed success in bringing cases involving individuals under 18 years of age to zero in accordance with the judiciary's fifth five-year strategic plan.

"We have given special priority to development construction and revenue collection cases," he said. Patan High Court has stated that it has disposed of 740 cases in the current fiscal year and 12 cases involving detainees older than one year remain.

Among the subordinate districts, Sindhupalchok has disposed of 77.4%, Rasuwa 75.6%, and Kathmandu District Court has disposed of the least at 42.3% of cases.
