National Assembly Meeting Prioritizes Economic and Appropriation Bills

Kathmandu. The meeting of the National Assembly, under the Federal Parliament, scheduled for 1:15 PM today has prioritized discussions on the Economic and Budget-related Bill and the Appropriation Bill.

According to the Parliament Secretariat, the agenda for the meeting includes the Secretary of the National Assembly, Tul Bahadur Kandel, presenting messages received from the House of Representatives regarding the "Economic Bill, 2083" and the "Bill to Raise National Debt, 2083" to the assembly.

Following this, a group discussion will be held on the appropriation titles of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Ministry of Agriculture, Forest and Environment, Ministry of Infrastructure Development, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Defence under the Appropriation Bill, 2083.

Similarly, the agenda also includes discussions on the appropriation titles of the Office of the President, Office of the Vice-President, Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, and the National Planning Commission Secretariat.
