Rapti Rural Municipality Chairman Establishes Endowment Fund for Needy Students

Dang. To support the studies of underprivileged students, Rapti Rural Municipality Chairman Prakash Bista has established an endowment fund from his salary received from the state treasury.

The school management committee has stated that an endowment fund of Rs 101,000 has been established for the educational upliftment of orphaned, underprivileged, and talented students at the Sarvodaya Secondary School in his municipality.

Informing that the fund has been established from his monthly salary of Rs 33,000, Chairman Bista said, "The fund has been created with the objective that orphaned and underprivileged students should not be deprived of basic education due to lack of financial means."
