Revenue of NPR 2.7 Million Collected from Traffic Violations in 24 Hours

Kathmandu. In the last 24 hours, NPR 2,736,501 has been deposited into the state treasury.

Revenue has been deposited as a penalty from two thousand and ninety-three drivers who were caught for traffic violations.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, 92 people who consumed alcohol, 169 who engaged in illegal 'ride sharing', 141 signal violators, and 101 who drove at high speed were penalized.

Similarly, 82 who did not follow 'lane' discipline, 92 who honked in prohibited areas, 105 who parked vehicles on the sidewalk, 129 who drove on one-way streets, and one thousand nine hundred and eighty-two who did not follow other traffic rules, totaling two thousand and ninety-three people, were penalized.
