House of Representatives to Convene Today for Budget Discussion

Kathmandu. The House of Representatives meeting under the Federal Parliament is also scheduled to convene today. The Federal Parliament Secretariat has set the agenda for the meeting to be held at 1:00 PM.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Honorable Speaker DP Aryal will read out the letter received from the Office of the President regarding the authentication of the bill.

The main agenda of the meeting will be the discussion on the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2083-084. According to the agenda, the Honorable Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle will present the proposal to commence a general discussion on the annual estimate of revenue and expenditure.

Following the Finance Minister's presentation, a general discussion on the annual estimate of revenue and expenditure (budget) for the upcoming fiscal year will begin in the house, the Parliament Secretariat has informed.
