Nepal Taru Union Elects Shivnarayan Mahato as President

Lalitpur. Shivnarayan Mahato 'Gurau' of Chitwan has been re-elected as the president of the Nepal Taru Union, a sister organization of the Nepali Congress. Mahato, who was the president of the ad-hoc committee, became the president unopposed from the first convention of the union held on Sunday night. According to the amended statute of the union 2079, all office bearers and members of the central working committee have been elected unopposed. From the convention held at the Congress central office in Lalitpur, Vice-President Dr. Bhogendra Prasad Chaudhary (Udaypur), General Secretary Phularam Chaudhary (Banke), Joint-General Secretary Radheshyam Chaudhary (Nawalparasi) were elected unopposed. Chief Election Officer Basudev Rizal informed that the leadership and the central working committee of the Taru Union have been elected unopposed. The new central committee is as follows -
