Rastriya Swatantra Party Secretariat Meeting Scheduled

Kathmandu. The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) secretariat meeting is being held this morning (Monday). The virtual meeting, which was scheduled for 8 PM on Sunday, was postponed due to the extension of the parliamentary session and has been rescheduled for 8 AM today.

The meeting was delayed because opposition party lawmakers protested the discussion on the House of Representatives' rules of procedure draft report in the parliament. Party spokesperson Manish Jha informed that the meeting was postponed to this morning due to the delay in the parliamentary session, preventing the meeting from being held at the scheduled time.

Various 9 agendas, ranging from current politics to the party's internal organizational strengthening and preparation for the upcoming general convention, will be discussed in today's meeting.

1. Regarding current politics and party activities.

2. Nomination of the Discipline Commission, Election Commission, and departments.

3. Regarding disciplinary action.

4. Regarding the provincial convention procedure.

5. Regarding sub-committees under the general convention main organizing committee.

6. Regarding the general convention election procedure.

7. Regarding amendment of the statute.

8. Regarding party responsibilities of federal lawmakers.

9. Miscellaneous

a. Regarding amendment of the district convention procedure.

b. Regarding candidates who receive more than 255 votes in provincial, district, and local committee conventions becoming representatives at one level higher convention.

c. Regarding becoming a representative at one level higher convention without being a candidate in the relevant level's convention.
