Police Arrest 26 in Various Parts of Country with Drugs

Kathmandu. A police team on regular patrol has arrested 26 people with drugs from various parts of the country.

According to the Central Police News Room, two people were arrested with 590 tablets of controlled drug Tramadol from Kaladhara, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-17, two with controlled drugs Diazepam 21 ampoules, Phenergan 20 ampoules, Buprenorphine 21 ampoules and cash Rs 20,000 from Nayabasti, Gokarneshwor Municipality-6, and two with illegal drug brown heroin from Anil Hotel, Jota Bazaar, Kedarsyu Rural Municipality-9, Bajhang.

Similarly, three people were arrested with brown sugar from Buspark, Birendranagar Municipality-10, Surkhet, one with brown sugar from Kharibot, Bagchaur Municipality-2, Salyan, and two carrying brown heroin with a digital scale and cash Rs 12,710 from Bargachhi, Urlabari Municipality-7, Morang on Friday.

Similarly, police arrested 3 people with controlled drugs Tramadol 200 tablets and Dyclomine 360 tablets on Friday night from Sisouli Tole, Belbari Municipality-1, Morang. The arrested are Roman Rai, 30, of the same place, Bikal Rai, 25, of the same municipality-1, and Sudesh Rai, 30, of the same municipality-4. The controlled drugs were found in Roman's house during a search by the police team from the Area Police Office, Belbari, and they were arrested.

Similarly, one person was arrested with illegal drug brown heroin from Bargachhi, Urlabari Municipality-7, Morang, one from Amhawa, Ramgram Municipality-16, Nawalparasi West, two from Kmerotar, Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-5, four from Thapuwa, Gulariya Municipality-8, Bardiya, one from Chhepare, AthbisKOT Municipality-14, Rukum West, one from Chaubiskothi, Khairahani Municipality-8, Chitwan, and one person with 55 kg of marijuana from Rampur, Ishworpur Municipality-8, Sarlahi on Saturday.
