Progressive Democratic Party to Hold Expanded Meeting in Kupondole

Lalitpur. The expanded meeting of the Central General Convention Secretariat of the Progressive Democratic Party (Pratidhwani) is to be held today in Kupondole, Lalitpur.

The meeting, which will be held at 11 am under the chairmanship of Santosh Pariyar, Chairman of the Prati Party Presidium, has set 9 agendas. The agenda includes paying tribute, remembering, and resolving to martyrs, reviewing the recent political developments in Nepal, and determining the party's future responsibilities. Pariyar also stated that discussions will be held on the party's organizational proposals, preparations for the first general convention of Pratidhwani, organization building, membership distribution, and selection of convention representatives.

The meeting has also put forward agendas to conduct party training at the provincial and district levels, add members to the general convention organizing committee, and form a dialogue committee for communication, unity, and polarization with like-minded leftist, socialist-democratic forces and groups. Furthermore, under miscellaneous, discussions will also be held today regarding upcoming campaign operations.

In accordance with the decisions of the expanded meeting of the party's central committee held in Kathmandu on Baishakh 11 and 12, the presidium meeting held on Baishakh 24 formed the secretariat.
