Far-Western Province Cabinet Reshuffle Underway

Dhangadhi. The CPN-UML, participating in the Far-Western Province government, is preparing to recall its old ministers and send a new team. With the government participation nearing two years, the UML is set to send new faces to the cabinet.

According to sources, it has been decided to make Santosh Sharma, Deputy Leader of the UML Parliamentary Party, Chief Whip Chakka Mall, Daman Bhandari, and Janaki Air Bom as ministers. It is claimed that the list of newly appointed ministers has already been sent to the Chief Minister's office.

Currently, Surendra Pal is serving as the Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development, Bir Bahadur Thapa as the Minister for Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives, and Hira Sarki as the Minister for Internal Affairs and Law from the UML in the Far-Western government. The party is preparing to recall all three of them. Similarly, State Minister for Physical Infrastructure Nirmala Saud will also be recalled from the government.

Preparations are underway to administer the oath of office to the new ministers by Monday evening, according to a source close to the Chief Minister. The list of new ministers from the Congress is yet to be made public.
