Congress MP Jagat Timilsina Draws Attention to Tribhuvan University Protests

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress MP Jagat Timilsina has drawn the government's attention to the fact that professors and employees appointed at Tribhuvan University after the year 2065 BS have been protesting for 45 days, but the government has not shown interest. He drew such attention in the National Assembly meeting on Wednesday.

He stated that the university's teaching and learning have been affected as professors who should be active in innovation, research, and investigation are on strike. He accused the government of being indifferent to the long-standing protest at Tribhuvan University and drew the serious attention of the government through the honorable chairperson.

Speaking in the meeting, he said, 'Professors and employees who entered Tribhuvan University after the year 2065 BS have been on dharna for 45 days. Professors have had to sit on dharna at a time when they should be participating in innovation, research, and investigation. The government has not shown interest in it. I draw the attention of the government through the honorable chairperson.'
