Shram Sanskriti Party Chair Demands Home Minister's Resignation

Kathmandu. Shram Sanskriti Party Chairman Harkaraj Rai has demanded the immediate resignation of Home Minister Sudhan Gurung. Responding to questions from journalists on Tuesday regarding the Home Minister, who has been embroiled in various controversies, Rai suggested that he step down from his post to pave the way for others.

Rai argued that it is inappropriate for the Home Minister to remain in office as new controversies and disputes emerge daily. 'We keep hearing new things about him, which is unfortunate. We hear something different two or three times a week. Therefore, my suggestion is that he should pave the way,' Chairman Rai stated.

Clarifying that he is not avoiding questions, he noted that the recurring controversies surrounding the Home Minister are not a good sign for the government or good governance. He cautioned the government to focus on maintaining good governance and emphasized that the Home Minister should address the public's concerns by resigning.
