10th International Industrial Expo to be held in Chitwan from Chaitra 27

Chitwan. The 10th International Exhibition is set to begin on Chaitra 27. Organized by the Chitwan Association of Industries, the exhibition will run until the 29th. The association held a press conference today to provide details about the event. Association President Madan Ghimire stated that the exhibition, aimed at promoting Nepali industries, will help substitute imports and boost exports.

The exhibition will showcase machinery and technology useful for manufacturing and service-oriented industries. Products related to handicrafts, garments, construction materials, plastics, printing, packaging, agriculture, and energy will be displayed.

The exhibition will feature stalls from all seven provinces. It will also include stalls from the National Innovation Center showcasing technology and machinery, as well as industries affiliated with the 'Make in Nepal' campaign. With 100 stalls, the organizers expect the participation of over 25,000 industrialists and business people. Ghimire noted that since Nepali-made goods are currently reaching countries like India, Ethiopia, and Sri Lanka, the event will also assist in the marketing of these products.

During the exhibition, discussions will be held on the current industrial state of Nepal and its future trajectory to create an environment for access to national and international markets. It was highlighted that the exhibition will serve to inspire youth toward entrepreneurship, increase employment, and promote the development of domestic industries and the building of a prosperous nation through the maximum utilization of local resources.
