Federal Parliament Secretariat Calls Meeting of Political Parties Represented in the House of Representatives

Kathmandu. A meeting of the political parties represented in the House of Representatives is scheduled to be held today at the call of the Federal Parliament Secretariat. Parliament General Secretary Padma Prasad Pandey informed that the meeting of the parties represented in the House of Representatives will be held at 2:00 PM.

'The Secretariat has called a meeting of the parties that were successful in securing representation in the House of Representatives through the election,' General Secretary Pandey told Ratopati. 'The meeting will be held in the General Secretary's office at the Parliament Secretariat in Singha Durbar.'

Six parties are represented in the House of Representatives following the election held on Falgun 21. The Rastriya Swatantra Party, Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), Communist Party of Nepal, Labour Culture Party, and Rastriya Prajatantra Party have won seats in the House of Representatives.

By convening a meeting of these parties, the Secretariat has begun discussions on how to proceed forward.
