CPN-UML to Submit Protest Letters Nationwide Against Chairman KP Sharma Oli's Arrest

Kathmandu. The CPN-UML is set to submit protest letters to the District Administration Offices across the country today against the arrest of party Chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The party will submit the protest letters today as per the decision made during the emergency secretariat meeting held on Saturday.

The party has expressed its disagreement and opposition to the Gauribahadur Karki Commission formed to investigate the incidents of Bhadra 23 and 24, demanding the formation of a high-level investigation commission for the probe into those incidents.

Following discussions with parties represented in Parliament regarding the situation after Oli's arrest, the party has already assigned leaders including Bishnu Paudel, Ram Bahadur Thapa, and Gokul Bista the responsibility of coordinating a collective counter-response.
