Rastriya Swatantra Party Elects Shivkumar Subedi as Kapilvastu Chairman

Butwal. Rastriya Swatantra Party 'RSP' Shivkumar Subedi has been elected as the chairman of Kapilvastu. In the election held under the district convention, Subedi won the chairmanship with 235 votes, defeating his competitor Bikram Thapa. 

His competitor Thapa received only 65 votes. The election committee stated that the voting process continued until late yesterday evening and the vote count was made public this morning. 

Similarly, there was competition between three candidates for the post of district vice-chairman. Ramniwas Puri has been elected with 180 votes. Other candidates for the post, Chiranjivi Sharma received 82 votes and Anup Marasini received 32 votes and were defeated. 

Similarly, Yamlal Acharya won the post of secretary with 209 votes. His competitors Gurudev Poudel received 60 votes and Sushil Khatri received 44 votes. Devendrakumar Sharma has been elected as the joint secretary with 123 votes. 

Other candidates for the post, Mohammad Ali received 96 votes, Jeev Lal received 46 votes and Kriti Malla received 32 votes.
