Rastriya Swatantra Party Chitwan Elects New Leadership

Chitwan. Rastriya Swatantra Party 'RSP' Chitwan's chairman has been elected as Mini Madhav Khanal. Khanal was elected chairman by defeating competitors in the first convention of RSP Chitwan held on Sunday. Khanal secured the leadership by defeating Krishna Prasad Bhusal and Prakash Acharya, who were candidates for the post of chairman. Khanal won with 222 votes, while his closest rivals Bhusal received 111 votes and Acharya received 22 votes.

Similarly, Nirmala Giri has been elected to the post of Vice-Chairman. Giri won the Vice-Chairman post by getting 190 votes, while her closest rivals Tikadatta Itani got only 84 votes and Prabhakar Joshi got 73 votes.

Tejendra Prasad Poudel has been elected as the secretary of RSP Chitwan with 194 votes. His competitor Netra Lamichhane was limited to 145 votes. Similarly, Kushal Pathak has won the post of joint secretary with 187 votes.

Other candidates for the said post, Parvati Pandey received 69 votes, Bed Prasad Acharya received 54 votes, and Chum Bahadur GC received 37 votes.
