Woman 'Court Marries' Son-in-law, Disclosing Relationship on Social Media

Kathmandu. A news has come to light that a woman has 'court married' her son-in-law, ruining her daughter's home. Such an incident has occurred in Kanpur Dehat district of Uttar Pradesh state of India.

Both have made the marriage certificate public through social media. Indian media have reported that the incident came to light in the Akbarpur police station area.

The son-in-law and mother-in-law have posted joint pictures with the marriage certificate on social media, urging people to accept their relationship and give blessings.

It is said that they registered their marital relationship by going to the Kanpur Nagar Court. However, Indian media have reported that no complaint has been filed with the police regarding this.

It has not been disclosed whether the man who is said to have married his mother-in-law has divorced his first wife.
