Opposition Congress Leaders Meet to Strategize Following Arrest of Former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak

Kathmandu. Leaders from the dissenting faction of the Nepali Congress are currently holding discussions to formulate a strategy regarding Congress leader and former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, who was arrested on Saturday. The meeting of the dissenting faction leaders is taking place at a hotel in Thamel.

Sources indicate that around two dozen leaders are participating in the meeting, including Purna Bahadur Khadka, Dr. Shekhar Koirala, Bimalendra Nidhi, Dr. Shashanka Koirala, Prakash Man Singh, NP Saud, Bal Bahadur KC, Dr. Minendra Rijal, and outgoing Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel.

Sources suggest that preparations are underway to issue a statement following the discussions.
