Final Stages of Vote Counting for House of Representatives Election 2082; Only Four Seats Awaiting Results

Kathmandu. The vote counting for the direct representation category of the House of Representatives Election 2082 is reaching its final phase. Results for only 4 seats are yet to be announced.

According to the latest vote tallies, the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Nepali Congress, and CPN-UML are leading in one seat each. RSP is leading in Gorkha-1, Nepali Congress in Ilam-1, and CPN-UML in Sankhuwasabha-1. The Election Commission has decided not to publicly announce the results for Dhanusha-1 at this time.

So far, RSP has secured the highest number of seats with 124 victories. Congress, in second place, has won 17 seats, while UML has won 8 seats. The Communist Party of Nepal is in fourth place with 7 seats.

The Shram Sanskriti Party has won 3 seats, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party has won 1 seat, and 1 independent candidate has been declared victorious.
